WE’RE SAVED!!
the bill for bailout just passed in the senate. i can only assume it passes in the house. that means all of our money troubles are solved. it didn't solve the iraq war… or that the rich getting richer at the expense of those that can't afford it… or that we've dissolved our standing in the world into a steaming pile of toxic sludge… or that the unfettered free market is flawed at its foundation and is unsustainable… or that i'm not making enough money to jump out of the way when the house of cards finally falls.
but the bill passed so now we can all buy without consequence, borrow without shame and go back to how things were. whoop! super awesome. everyone back on the horse this month. make black friday turn green. i wouldn't worry about paying off debt, gigantic entitlement programs or how much farther the market can fall. that'd just bring down the mood.
