ah movies. summer. here we go again
… so in an attempt to make as much money as possible off a handful of movies we’re always flooded with such quality film during the summer months i figured i’d take a moment to appreciate it.
Poseidon, Omen, M:i:III, Xmen III, Garfield II, Da Vinci Code, Stick It, Just My Luck, The Breakup, Pirates of the Caribbean, Superman Returns, The Devil Wears Prada, Miami Vice, … and the one I’m holding my breath for: Fast and the Furious III.
basically… if you’re not a proven franchise, remake, tween-friendly, pre-hyped with gossip rags, or based off a hugely successful false “code” you’re not worth the time or money to promote. curious why they’re not making any money.
i’ll say baaahhhhhh to Da Vinci, superman, xmen, and breakup cause i love Tom’s hair, dug the latest batman, am a sucker for flicks based off comics, and want aniston’s ass. oh.. and i guess talladega nights. have to respect the ferrell. here’s to hoping they find some quality flicks to fill the 2 screens left in the megacinemas.
